Physical description : 

Fragmentary five-line mosaic inscription set in a medallion (diam. 90 cm), oriented east. Frame and letters in black tesserae; lines of texts separated by rows of pinkish-orange tesserae. May have begun with a cross, sprig, or other decorative element. Letters belong to square alphabet. They are well-spaced in ll. 1-3 but more crowded in the other lines and range in height from 5-9 cm, depending on the line. Paleography points to a 5th century date.
