Physical description : 

Two-part mosaic inscription: A: 3 lines framed in a semicircle (diam. 40) next to the inner frame of the carpet; B: 6 lines inscribed above A, between 2 medallions. Both oriented south. Letters (A: 4-6 cm high; B: 3.8-5 cm high) traced in black tesserae on a white background and belong to the square alphabet. Probably a small horizontal stroke formed by two tesserae (or a single dot - one tesserae) for abbreviation in A l.3.
