Physical description : 

Fragmentary 8-line mosaic inscription set in a medallion with a double circular frame (internal diam. 73 cm) enclosed in a square; space between medallion and square filled with a colorful zigzag pattern. Lines of text separated by rows of pinkish orange tesserae. Frame and letters traced in black tesserae. Letters belong to the square alphabet; they are well-spaced in first 4 lines, more crowded in lines 5-8, and range in height from 4-8 cm.

Lord Jesus, help Thy servant Marcella, for she founded [a holy church? of --] and of Virgin Mary.
