Findspot: On a tombstone in the baptistry.

The epitaph is engraved on a rectangular tombstone. The writing is rough, with several cursive letters, especially delta, zeta, and a peculiar phi. The text begins with a cross.

αμάνος Θέμου
4 πρεσβ(ύτερος) Ἀωγδ-
ονίου κʹ εἰνδ(ικτιῶνος)
ζʹ ἔτους

Rests with the saints the blessed Salamanos (son) of Themos, priest, on Audynaois 20 of the 7th indiction, year 573.
L.4 Α Ωγδ|ονίου Negev, Ἀωγδ|ονίου Pleket (SEG); l.5 κεʹ ἰνδ(ικτιῶνος) Negev, Meimaris, but Bingen (SEG) observes that the stone has ΟΝΙΟΥ v Κ v ΕΙΝΔ.

The date is not 25 Audynaios = 10 January, as in ed.pr., but 20 Audynaios = 5 January 679, which fell in the 7th indiction.
Themos cannot be the same man that is mentioned in Inscriptions nos. 3 and 7.
