Many of the stones had been plundered in the past and damage was done by agricultural development. The complex had two wings flanking a basilica on the north and south. Churche/s: The church is a basilica (ca. 9.5 x 7.80 m) flanked by pastophoria. The bema and apse did not survive. West of the church was a narthex (9.1 x 3.2 m), paved in a plain white mosaic. The church was paved with a mosaic in black red and white. A five line Greek inscription within a tabula ansata, mentioning the abbot in whose time the church was renovated, was dated to the second half of the fifth century. Refectory: A large hall ( 2.8 m wide) in the southern part of the complex was paved with stone and the roof had been held up by three rows of columns constructed of very large stones. This hall may have served as a refectory.
