Discussion: 
Although a church structure was not positively identified, the site is regarded by scholars as a monastery based on the components found there. As is the case with other, similar sites, this should be regarded with caution.

General outline: 
The site, not excavated, consisted of a large structure and several vaulted rooms. To the west of the structure was a plastered pool and north and east of it are vaulted burial caves. A winepress, cisterns and mosaic floors of white tesserae were seen in the vicinity.
