General outline:
According to Féderlin, the complex measured 20 x 30 m. Apart from an aquaduct leading to the site, no other significant finds were reported.
Dating material:
The monastery was probably founded sometime in late fifth or early sixth centuries along with others in the region. The report by Procopius concerning its restoration would indicate that it had been standing for some time by the reign of Justinian (527-565 CE).
