lintels, jambs, thresholds
In the archives of IAA a photo of the lintel (or decorative ashlar?) was preserved. Probably, it was part of the church decoration or reused in it as spolium. It was nicely carved in a shape of thick rectangular ashlar. Its frontal side was decorated with a medallion, which outer perimeter was accentuated with ovolo molding (or probably twisted rope pattern, not very well seen on the photo). Within the medallion 18-petalled rosette was placed. Petals were joining in the center with dot-like pestle. Each petal was carved as widening flute with rounded end and delicately grooved in the central part. Medallion was flanked with two long "dovetail handles" (as in traditional tabula ansata pattern), comprised of repeating dog-teeth pattern. By their tops they were oriented towards the medallion.
