Rehovot in-the-Negev - East Church

Columns and piers: 

Plenty of column drums were found scattered on the surface of the church area. Among them specially interesting the drum with the relief Maltese cross. Its equal in the ir legth arms were completed with the dove-tails. The surface of the arms was concave. The style of carving was comparatively delicate, though the traces of the claw chiseling were quite traceable. 

During the survey in 2018 it was not available anymore.

Pilaster caps and bases: 

Two pilaster caps were found scattered on the surface near the church. They were comprised by truncated pyramids, attached to the even surface. The lower part of caps were decorated with stylizied denticulla pattern. The other patterns, which apparently, decorated the caps, were not preserved (eroded).
