Composition:
Three rectangular intercolumniation carpets (1.5 x 0.5 m ). The western carpet is framed by a border of two gray-blue tesserae on either side of two rows of red stones. The inner field is dotted with flowers with gray stems and red blossoms. The middle carpet design is set in a frame consisting of four rows of stones; a gray row and a red row. The carpet creates a diamond pattern formed from lines of gray, red and orange tesserae on either side of a white line. Inside each formed diamond is a small cross in varying colors of red and gray.
