Physical description : 

The inscription, 333 cm long, is inserted on the internal side of the frame, along the width of the mosaic carpet, looking east. The letters are 11 cm high. The nomen sacrum is marked with a horizontal line.

Text: 

Κ(ύριος) ποιμένι με καὶ οὐδέν με ὑστερήση.

Translation: 

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall no want (Ps. 23:1).

Apparatus: 

ΠΟΙΜΗΝΙ  phonetic spelling for ποιμαίνει; ΥΣΤΕΡΗΣΕ  for ὑστερήσει.

Commentary: 

The inscription belongs to the same pavement as inscription no. 2 and must be dated accordingly.
