At the northern end of the mosaic pavement (near W25) of the roofed chamber of the chapel, positioned to be read from the northern entrance (L906).

Physical description : 

Three-line mosaic inscription. The first Σ is square, while the second is lunate. The O is drop-shaped, and the last letter of the inscription, possibly K, is unclear.

χ΄ μη(νὶ) Δεσίο-

υ ακ΄.

Translation: 

In the year 646, in the month of Daisios, the 21.

Commentary: 

21 Daisios 646 according to era of Ascalon (104 BC) gives 15 July 543 AD, a precise date for the construction of the ‎burial structure.
