Physical description :
Garstang's 1921 excavation statement includes a report of "a few small fragments of inscriptions, Greek and Cufic" (p. 13), presumably graffiti, among the debris of the church. This report has been quotated by Ovadiah and Bagatti, without further information. Neither text nor translation is available.
