Physical description :
A. Fragment, 18 cm long and 4 cm thick, from the front left corner of the altar table. B. Fragment, 36 cm long, from the front of the altar table, continuation of A. Letters 1.6-2.6 cm high, elegantly shaped, with "collared" upsilon, rho with curly loop, and alpha with long decorative serif in the middle bar, pointing to a date not earlier than the second half of the 6th century. Inscription begins with a cross. Monogram of xi an chi, probably the stonecutter's mark, on back of B.
