Physical description :
Mosaic inscription is set within a tabula ansata. Below the inscription is a monogrammatic cross flanked by two birds. The various sizes of the letters suggest that the script was unplanned, i.e., the large letters that begin the inscription get smaller for lack of space, leaving the last letter out of the panel.

Ἡγίασεν τὸ
σκήνωμα
αὐτοῦ ὁ ὕψι-
στος ὁ θεὸς,
ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς.
Translation:
The Most High has sanctified his tabernacle. God is in her midst. (Shippee)
