Physical description : 

Fragmentary mosaic inscription set in a large medallion. Only the lower part of the medallion is preserved.

Text: 

[? Ἐτελειώθη τὸ πᾶν ἔργον τοῦ ἁγίου φωτι-]

στηρίου [ἐν μη(νὶ) Ἰαν-]

ουαρίῳ ἰν̣[δ(ικτιῶνος) θʹ]

ἔτ(ους) δνχʹ.

Translation: 

[All the work (or: The mosaic) of the holy bapti]stery [was completed in the month of Jan]uary of the in]diction [9] year 654.

Apparatus: 

L.1 Łajtar urges that [ἡ ψήφωσις] is also possible in place of [τὸ πᾶν ἔργον].

Commentary: 

Year 654 of the Pompeian era = 591 AD.
