Physical description : 

Fragmentary mosaic inscription within a medallion (diam. 138 cm) framed by two dark blue lines. The letters are in dark blue against a white background.

        Προκο[πίου φι-]

        λοχ(ρίστο)υ ψη[φώσαν]-

4      τος τὸ νέ[ον ἔργον ?ὑ]-

        πὲρ μν[ήμης κ(αὶ) ἀναπαύ-]

        σεως Πέτρου κ[(αὶ) - -]

        νας τῶν αὐτοῦ υἱ̣[ῶν]

8      ἐν μη(νὶ) Ἰανουαρ(ίῳ) δ[νχʹ ?]

Translation: 

[Offering] of Christ-loving Procopius, who paved with mosaics the ne[w building] (or: the ne[w baptistery]) for the memory and rest of Petrus and [- -]na his sons, in the month of January [65]4.
