Physical description :
One-line mosaic inscription, of which only the end is presereved (extant length 101 cm). The beginning of the inscription was damaged and repaired in antiquity with clay. The letters, 10-13 cm high, with 44 tesserae per 100 sq cm, are made of red limestone.

[Αὕτη ἡ πύλη (τοῦ) Κυρίου, δί]κ(αιοι) εἰσελεύσ(ονται) ἐν αὐτῇ.
Translation:
This gate of the Lord into which the righteous shall enter.
