Jerusalem (Mount of Olives) - Ascension

Paragraph:
12
Translation:

Now I go back towards Jerusalem, and (after passing) through Thecoa and (the tomb of) Amos I shall see the sparkling cross on the Mount of Olives from which the Saviour ascended to the Father. (That is the mountain) on which each year was burnt as an offering to the Lord a red heifer, and its ashes made atonement for the people of Israel <Num. 19>; and to which, according to Ezekiel, the Cherubim flew out of the Temple and founded the Church of the Lord <Ez. 11:22–23>.
