Translation:
The Hill of Mamre is a mile north of these tombs (of the Patriarchs, at Hebron), a place with much grass and flowers, a country place and a plateau on the summit. To the north of it is the Oak of Abraham, whose trunk is the height of two men, surrounded by a church.
