When they had been (in Jerusalem) for a time they came to the city of Sebastia, which had formerly been called Samaria: but this was later destroyed and people built a village on the site of what had been Samaria, and named the village Sebastia. John the Baptist, Obadiah, and Elisha the Prophet now lie buried there.
