'Ein el Ma'amudieh - Chapel - Prayer hall

Composition: 
The forepart of the hall is paved with a carpet (6.4 x 4.8 m) in a simple design of diagonal rows of florets within a linear frame of black, red and white. The center of the hall holds a panel with a more complex design of alternating square and round medallions between stripes. The medallions contain various motifs of fruit, sickle, and a parasol. The central field of the carpet is made out of crossing oblique lines and florets. The eastern part of the carpet (towards the alter) holds an inscription within a tabula ansata (3.3 m x 0.3 m). it reads a Greek rendition of the Septuagint of Psalms 105:4-5.
