Composition: 
The Bema mosaic contains a floral pattern made out of four-petalled motifs. The border is made out of zigzag pattern surrounding two series of triangles: dark and light. The eastern part of the bema holds a mosaic consisting of an isolated medallion containing an amphora of plain design. In front of the entrance to the bema is another mosaic of a repeating orange ivy leaf motif on a plain background.
