Physical description :
The inscription is framed in a tabula ansata between two projecting walls. The letters belong to the oval alphabet; omicron and theta are drop-shaped; rho, psi and omega have curled ends; upsilon has decorative "epaulets". The spelling has iotacisms and exchange of short and long vowels.

Ἐτελ⟨ειώ⟩θη τὸ πᾶν ἔργ(ο)ν τῆς ψ⟨η⟩-
φ⟨ώ⟩σεως ἐπὶ τοῦ πρεσβυτέρου Γε⟨ω⟩-
ργίου κ(αὶ) (ἡ)γουμένου κ(αὶ) δευτεραρίαου Κομιτᾶ.
Translation:
The whole work of the mosaic was completed in the time of the priest and hegumen George and of the deuterarius Comitas.
