General description:
Basilical church with an atrium, lockable pastophoria and an annexed chapel.
The later church was built some 13 m east of its predecessor, on a more stable foundation. The floor of the Late church is a half meter higher than the floor of the Early church and between them, there is a fill of stones and columns of Early church. The Late church measures 26 X 17. 5 m.
History:
The church is dated to the 5th century on base of literary sources and the secondary use of architectural elements from the Early church. However, the use of buttresses and a central dome may point to the sixth century dating.
