The inscription consists of only two letters, and perhaps was not finished.

Summary:
Invocation (?) – grafitto on a rock wall in the cistern near the monastery.
It seems possible that the two letters are short for (Κύριε) ἐλέησον, i.e. "Lord, have mercy", one of the most common formulae in Christian inscriptions.
