Physical description :

Fragmentary mosaic, in the outer border a row of leaves, in the inner border a guilloche; the field was decorated with floral ornaments; cubes: 2-3 cm. In l.1 and 2 a small sigma as abbreviation mark.

Text:

[☩] Ὑπὲρ μνήμ(ης) κ(αὶ)

[ἀ]ναπαύσ(εως) τῶ[ν ἀδ]-

[ελφ]ῶν ἡμῶν - - - - - -

- - - -νίου κ(αὶ) - - - - - -

[ - - - το]ῦ πρεσ[β(υτέρου)].

Translation:

For the memory and repose of our brethren …nius and …us, priest(s). (CIIP)

Apparatus:

Dothan mistook some of the abbreviations and expected a longer line, e.g. ὑπὲρ μνήμης καὶ ... καὶ | ἀναπαύσεως κτλ.; Woodhead (SEG) printed no restoration at all; readings and restorations are by Lifshitz.  l.2f. Meimaris 248 seems to think of τῶ[ν ἁγί]ων ἡμῶν;  l.3f. [Εὐγε]νίου, [Ἀντο]νίου Dothan;  l.5 πρεσ[βυτέρου] Lifshitz, but πρεσ[βυτέρων] is not excluded (Meimaris prints the singular on p. 199, the plural on p. 248). Since there is no indication of rank for the first person, the plural is slightly more probable.
