Physical description :
The inscription, framed by an olive-branch wreath, was carved in relief on a marble slab, which was found in secondary use at the entrance to the tomb. The marble slab bearing our inscription possibly originated as part of a chancel screen, and was reused for the construction of the entrance to the Byzantine tomb. The letters Ε, Ο, Ω and Σ are round-shaped.
