Physical description : 

Syriac mosaic inscription set in a circle (Ø 84 cm). No ornaments except for three simple crosses placed at the beginning and at the end of the inscription.

       ☩ אתקנת די-

       רא ביומוהי דד-

       ניאיל בר חוזא, יוחנן

4     בר פרסיא וישועדד בר

       קטריא ובעיא בר שה-

       רזורא. דמרן נחון

       אנון ביומא ד-

8     ☩ דינא. ☩

Translation: 

(This) monastery was built in the days of Daniel, of Ahwāz, Yoḥannōn, the Persian, and išō‛dad of Qaṭrōye, and Ba‛ya of Shahorzūr. May the Lord have mercy on them on the Day of Judgement.  (Stephan)
