Paragraph:
XV, 2
Translation:
Nazareth has no walls, but sizable buildings and two large churches. The foundations of the one in the middle of the city comprise two vaults, where there was once a house in which the Lord was fed as a baby. Furthermore this church — the one supported by two vaults with arches between them, as has already been said — has beneath it, between the vaults, a very clear stream, from which all the citizens, going to down to the church, draw water in buckets by a pulley.
