Physical description :

A Palestinian Aramaic mosaic inscription on the margins of Room 2 floor. The two-lines inscription bordered by two blue bands that run along the length of the room from southwest

to north-east for ea. 4.4 m. The inscription is bounded by a cross on the south, next to the entrance in the southern wall. A simplified figure of a bird can be recognized above the

inscription. This 'Mosaic Room' is most probably a small chapel. The inscription seems to devide the room into two units, the eastern seemingly serving as the sanctuary, though no fragments of a chancel screen, and no indications of an altar or decorations typical of an ecclesiastical building were uncovered, except for few tiny marble fragments. But knst of the inscription indicates that it served as a chapel.
