Some of the walls of the structure were preserved to a height of two meters (at the time of the survey) but much of the site was plundered by robbers. A large stone lintel with an inscribed cross in a Tabula Ansata was found at the site.
A path led towards the complex from the north.
The complex was surrounded by a wall measuring 24.7 x 21.5-18.5 m.
The entrance to the complex was through its northern wall.
A courtyard was located in the middle of the complex.
In the northwestern corner stood a tower that had been originally two or three stories high. A baptismal font was found in one of the tower's rooms.
A second tower was located north of the complex on the path leading to it.
Dwelling cells were built on the southern and eastern sides of the courtyard.
Burial caves were located nearby.
Caves used for storage were located nearby.
See above (Burials and Storage).
