Identification of the site as a monastery is based on a survey.

Paths:
A flight of steps, cut into the rock connected the two levels of the complex.
Courtyards:
The upper level contains a central courtyard paved with stone flags and surrounded by several structures.
Churche/s:
A church structure was not identified. However, marble elements, a large stone-carved cross (each arm ca. 60 cm long), tesserae and fragments of roof tiles indicate the existence of a church.
Dwellings:
Remains of dwelling cells were observed on the lower level.

General outline:
The site was constructed on two levels, the upper one consisting of several structures including a stone paved courtyard. On the lower level there was a large hall and adjoining dwelling cells.
Dating material:
Dated generally to the Byzantine period based on the architecture and finds of the survey.
