State of preservation/which parts were uncovered:
Scant remains were found in the survey, these point to the existence of an enclosing wall and other structures.
Enclosing walls:
The complex was surrounded by a wall (37 x 30 m) enclosing an area of 1,110 m2.
Gate/s:
Entrance to the compound was through the eastern wall.
Water installations:
A plastered and vaulted cistern, a pool and a trench with remains of pottery pipes were noted in the survey.

General outline:
The site has not been excavated. It was probably founded sometime in the sixth century. Colorful tesserae may indicate the presence of a church.
Dating material:
The pottery examined in the survey was dated generally to the Byzantine period.

The finds of the survey did not indicate that the site was occupied later than the Byzantine period. It was probably abandoned after the Arab conquest.
