Ḥorvat Midras - Church

General description:

The church was paved with brilliant colerful mosaics with an emphasis on zoomorphic figures in the hall, apse and baptisterium and geometirc patterns in the aisles.

The colerful mosiacs in the hall are dated to the 6th century (level 4) and probably a later 7th century BC for the Bema and Apse. (level 4II).

The Atrium is dated to probably earlier date of 4th-6th century.
