Painted on the north wall of the apsis of the cave-church.
Below the painting of the ascension there is a row of (thirteen) standing figures identified by painted inscriptions. White painting on a grey zone.
[Φί]λιππος, Μᾶρκος, Ματθαῖος, Ἀ[νδ]ρέας, Πέτρ[ος]
Philippus, Marcus, Matthaeus, Andreas, Petrus.
The reading of some of the inscriptions suggests that the figures are those of the twelve apostles and Theoctistus, the founder of the monastery. (CIIP)
