Three scrosses are cut in the rock at its entrance. Ten burials troughs were installed therein.    Burial crypt. A mosaic pavement covered one of these tombs while an elaborate entrance was constructed. TB 1

In the second phase, the northern pastophorium was paved with a mosaic floor and separated from the northern aisle by a wall. The southern pastophorium is referred by the excavator as "chapel" or "martyrion". It seems that in the first phase it was a square room, similar to the northern pastophorium. In the second phase, the southern pastophorium was separated from the southern aisle by means of a stone-built balustrade and an apsidal shelf was built in the room. According to the excavators, at least one reliquarium was placed on the apsidal shelf. Thus, the southern pastophorium served for the cult of the relics. see above, under "pastophoria". Diemensions: 2.5X3 m. and 1.2 m. deep. The cover stone was discovered broken, in situ. The chamber is made of ashlar blocks and concrete. Two skeletons were found there. Burial crypt. A plastered, rectangular baptismal font was installed in the SE corner of the room, against the apse, in the late 6th or early 7th c., according to the epigraphy, and paleography of the intact Greek mosaic inscription, in a medallion, found in the center of the room. This baptistery is labelled diakonikon in the inscription. unknown A plastered, rectangular baptismal font was installed in the northern pastophorium, referred to as diakonikon in the mosaic Greekinscription.
