State of preservation/which parts were uncovered:
Basalt built, constructed over the site of a former small Roman fort (15 x 20 m) that was converted to a monastery or a farm. Includes a chapel paved with a mosaic floor of geometric patterns and a Syriac inscription found in the narthex. An oven, 1.8 m in diameter, was uncovered as well.
