Quadrangular chapel |
A broad hall was attached to the basilica on the south. It had a rectangular ante-chamber to its west. This hall might had served as the Quadrangular chapel. The large rectangular area that extended farther south might had held monastic structures, hence Woolley and Lawrence had designated this complex as monastic.

Simple rectangular room |
The chapel is annexed on south and entered from the southwestern corner of the southern aisle. It is almost square in shape, measuring 6.3 X 6.9 m and paved with stone slabs. A larger hall to its east (13.6 X 6.2 m), was not connected directly with the basilica; it has a separate entrance on the outside, from the south. |
Apsidal chapel |
The baptistery was located to the west of the atrium and accessed from the southern part of its western wing through a doorway with two attached columns. Two columns in antae separated between the room with the font and a vestibule that extended to its west. It was paved by stone slabs. The baptismal font was set in a apse built in the eastern part of the baptistery. Its internal shape is cruciform with no ascending stairs. Its external shape is semicircular. The arms of the cross are 1.3 m long and 0.5 m wide. It is 1.1 m deep. The font was faced with marble. Two cupboards 0.75m deep were installed in the southern wall and a niche 40x60x50 cm in the eastern wall, to the north of the apse. |

Simple rectangular room, Other |
A northern attached room, mosaic paved, labeled 'room of the Statue', was connected to the northern pastophorium through a double entrance. Presumably it held a statue of Christ. It had another entrance, leading outside, in its northern wall. According to Philostorgius (Ecclesiastical History, Wilson 2008, pp. 205-6), the statue was placed in that part of the church which was allotted to the deacons, namely - the diakonikon, attracting many people to adorned it. These "double room" space served as a sort of martyrium. |
