A baptismal basin out of context was observed near the mosque. It was formed in the shape of a cross (outer dimensions ca. 1 x 1 m), built of cemented fieldstones; the inner surface was plastered in several layers, while the outer was made of modern cement with embedded sherds of black Gaza Ware. Nearby, a monolithic stone (of limestone), also chiseled in a cross form. A sounding at this spot revealed a mosaic pavement about 1.3 m below the surface. Some 40 m west of the mosque ruins, three marble columns were found. |

The crypt is located under the apse. It consists of a system of arcosolia tombs that preceded the church. During the first phase, the tombs were connected and enlarged into a crypt. The entrance was from the eastern, outer side of the apse wall. Several skeletons of women were discovered in the crypt. |

In the southern aisle there is a rock-cut tomb with ashlars lining its rims. It measures 1.5 X 0.7 m and beside it there is a monolithic lid, shaped as a gabled roof with four horns. |
