Apsidal chapel |
10.5 X 10.5 m. in dimensions, located behind the church, to its east, and could be accessed from within the church through two openings on either side of the apse. Four columns divide the internal space, mirroring the division into a nave and aisles within the church. At the east end is an apse (1.8 m deep and 3.75 m wide), with two baptismal fonts (one quatrifoil, one circular). The apse is flanked by two open rectangular spaces. The baptistery floor is paved in colorful mosaic. |
Quadrangular chapel |
Funerary chapels with two superimposed mosaic pavements were attached according to Bagatti (1971, Fig. 37, no. 5), to this church, rather being associated with the Southern Church. |
