At its eastern wall was installed a semicircular niche. It was open to the aisle by an arch resting on pilasters. The southern pastophorium, similar in shape, measured 1.5 X 1.9 m. AM 1

The first is located under the nave's floor, near the bema. It is indicated by three small crosses carved on the floor slabs. The tomb underneath was carved into bedrock and plastered. It measures 2.13 X 0.83 X 1.43 m. In the tomb skeletons of three adult males were discovered, with their feet pointing east. The second burial was found under the floor of Room 3, annexed to the chapel from northwest. The floor of this room is made of crashed limestone. Under the floor a box grave was found, carved into the bedrock. This grave measures 1.75 X 0.60 X 0.80 m and it contained a single skeleton of a woman about 35 years old with her feet pointing towards east. SB 1

Dimensions: 1.9 m. long, 0.58 m. wide and approx. 0.35 m. deep. Cut into bed rock with flagstones lining the sides. The tomb is contemporary with the room and possibly had a special status. Six trance graves cut into bedrock, four adults and two children, according to their orientation, facing south; they belong to the Islamic periods. SB 1

Both used for the cult of the relics. On the apse cord N apse, S apse Stone pits were uncovered in the floor in the two pastophoria flanking the apse, under secondary tables marked by their legs' imprints. In one of the pits a human leg-bone was found – most probably a relic of a saint or martyr venerated in the church. Contact with the relic was achieved through a hole in the lid of each box, permitting to insert a glass or metal rod, or pour in oil. Masonry built cruciform 4a AM 1

The room has one slot window high up on the wall, measuring 0.1 m wide on the interior and 0.3 m wide on the exterior. The southern pastophorium measures 2 X 2.3 m.
